What SEO Link Building Is All About

Perhaps you have only recently decided to go ahead and try your hand at online marketing. Perhaps you have been reading many references to SEO link building, but you have yet to really understand why everyone is talking about it and what makes it so vital for your success. By the time you’re through with this article, you will definitely understand.

SEO is an abbreviation for search engine optimization. It’s the greatest way of all for generating free traffic, in large part because it allows you the ability for targeting. After all, it can be useless if you get a ton of traffic that is wholly untargeted. Here’s an example: You own a world class art gallery with a website that sells Picasso paintings, and the only traffic you get is from millions of preteen children. That’s tons of traffic but zero sales.

You should learn both types of optimization; on-page & off-page. This article doesn’t include on-page tips, which are things you can do within your website to court favor with search engines. Off-page optimization is what you can do from other websites, for the exact same purpose.

You need to get other websites to give you links to the site you are optimizing. There are several techniques for doing this. The easiest is to own other websites that you use for the express purposed of helping your optimized sites.

You can also write articles and submit them to directories that will publish them for free. You can create links to your website from your articles. The more outside website links that go to your website, the better your website will perform in search engine listings.

For the most powerful off-page SEO link building, be sure to utilize keyword anchor text. All this means is to take the keyword (search term) that you are targeting, and make that the actual link. Let’s say that you’re trying to rank for the search term, funky purple running shoes. You would make that the actual hyperlink to your website.

Many webmasters have difficulty with how to get backlinks. There’s a lot of effective methods to create the links yourself, but they are all time consuming. That’s why it’s best to partner with a great SEO link building services agency like SEOperks that has the expertise and experience to build the links you need quickly and effectively!

Is Article Marketing Useful?

Article marketing is the writing of articles that are relevant to the topic of the web site that you wish to promote. It works because the writer is permitted to append two URL’s to the articles, usually at the end, which will permit the reader to click through for further information.

Therefore, if you wanted to advertise a web site on cooking, you might write a series of articles on styles of cooking or using various kitchen gadgets.

If you post these articles to a general article database, you can assume a pretty low click through rate (CTR), but if you posted it to a cookery blog, you could look forward to a higher CTR.

The good thing is that everyone who clicks through will know what they are prone to see on your site, so they are focused visitors and focused visitors are more prone to turn into customers.

The articles that you submit to webmasters of blogs and article databases usually want to approve them for length and content, but if you are honest, that is hardly ever a problem Another advantage of article marketing is that these webmasters never shunt your article off their web site when new arrive.

They may place them into archives, but the archives are still readable and scannable by Google and this is an important advantage too.

You see, Google ranks web sites on their popularity and one of the techniques it uses to estimate popularity is how many links there are on the Internet pointing back to it. They are called backlinks. People found this out and tried to work around it (and still do) by exchanging backlinks.

However, Google rates one-way backlinks higher than mutual links. An article on a blog gives you two one-way backlinks until the blog goes under. If you pick where you post judiciously, this might never happen.

Google also looks to see if the host of your link is applicable to your site, so it is worth posting to sites that are pertinent to yours and Google awards extra merit if the site having your link is an authority site, that is, a top site on that subject.

If you submit an article to an article database and a leading authority site or newsletter on that subject picks it up and prints it, you will get loads of bonus points from Google, shoot up in the ranking, get loads of visitors and more clients.

The moral is to write good, relevant articles and submit them where they can be found. By this I mean, use the biggest article databases, because that is where the top people go to look for articles if they are stuck and also post your article to blogs that are relevant to the topic of your article, which should be relevant to the theme of your website, which should be relevant to what you are trying to sell.

I recently had one of my articles picked up. I had 3,450 plus visitors to my web site within two hours and 256 of them became customers. If only it could be achieved every day. The thing is, it can, if you get the approach right. Stay on target.

Web Site Promotion – SEO Or PPC?

The beauty of the Internet to Internet marketers is that millions of people can be accessed from any computer station in the world at a cost of pennies per thousand, if not cheaper. Having said that, there is a lot of competition which makes the fight for a ascent from obscurity not as easy as it may first appear on the face of it.

In the early days of the Internet, there were not so many web sites so merely having one put your firm out in the forefront in its field. However, nowadays, merely having a web site is definitely not enough – every boy and his granny has a web site.

Therefore you require a strategy to make your web site more famous. The two most successful strategies are SEO (search engine optimization) and PPC (pay per click).

Most surfers use a search engine to find what they want on the Net and most surfers using this method use Google. Therefore you should be optimizing your site for Google. There are thousands of books and articles written on this topic, but in essence it means refining your web site so that Google is in no doubt whatsoever which keywords you want to rank for.

SEO methods take time and consideration to implement, but once they are in position they are there for ever or until you alter the purpose of your site. For example, if you wanted to begin selling flower pots instead of flowers. SEO is the permanent, but slow-acting tactic to promoting. It is also economical, because you can do it yourself.

Pay per click promoting is faster-acting than SEO, but it is more expensive. With PPC advertising, such as Google’s Adsense / Adwords system, you pay someone (through Google) to host your adverts, but you only pay when someone clicks through to your web site.

In theory this means that you are only paying for people who come to your web site. These people are them expected to purchase, but the fact is that there are tyre-kickers out there, so you will end up paying for clicks that do not result in sales.

Not only that, but the first place in the PPC advertisers’ ranking goes to the highest bidder, so you might be number one in the list today and number six tomorrow. But no one will tell you, you have to remain on top of it.

However, if you get it correct and that is not as easy as it appears, results can be almost immediate. There is very little delay – the campaign starts today and so does the selling and the billing. If you get it wrong, you could use up your budget in hours without earning a single cent. If you get it correct, you could have sold out the same day.

The truth of the matter is that all web sites should be optimized for the search engines anyway, but you might want to conduct an extraordinary campaign at special times of the year like Christmas. The two types of promoting are not mutually exclusive.

How To Generate Profits By Monetizing Virtually All Of Your Site’s Traffic

Your website or blog has to be finely tuned or optimized, and using several different yet targeted monetizing strategies can work perfectly. One important point is do not take it to the extreme with affiliate ads or whichever you have. Nobody likes landing on a site the first time and getting hit with half a dozen ways to shell out their money. But realizing your conversions can be spread-out and casting a wider net will increase your profits bit by bit. Regardless of what you do, make sure to test all you do; here are several very solid tips for you.

You will find a certain number of markets and products for which building a list is not practical. On the other hand, the number of markets in which a list works very well is quite large in comparison. If you have a current business but have not yet begun to create a list, then that really should be your number one goal. There is nothing wrong with considering every person on your site as a prospect and future customer.

If you have tried yet did not see good results, then do not give up and find out what happened. Are your optin boxes in the best locations? Is your ethical bribe for opting-in solid and useful to your readers? Is your traffic sufficiently targeted for your website and offer? If you experienced problems with list building, then those are just a few important items to take into account.

Affiliate marketing is an apparent choice for very many people. But the key to affiliate achievement is accurate and wise product selection. You have to choose based on product general performance metrics as well as the needs of your market. You will find the greatest success with email marketing and effective preselling. Most of us know that no one wants to feel like they’re being, sold. In addition to other pre-sell techniques, do not neglect the product review if you can create a solid review. By the way, reviews are a form of pre-sell, but there are numerous other ways to use the pre-sell method.

In case you have your own product or service and it is solid, then sometimes nothing can beat that. The list of benefits available as a product creator is quite long, indeed. There would be nothing stopping you from growing your line of products and promoting affiliate products as well. What you want to do, ideally, is have a stable of products and solutions with ascending price levels. Each of your products presents a higher price point, and you continue to market them to your clients. But the important technique is to segment your list as individuals buy new products from you. Then you deliver different offers to your lists depending on where they are in your purchasing funnel.

How To Get That Number One Google Position.

If you haven’t yet automated your article submission, it can only be for one of three reasons:

1. You simply don’t want or need any additional free traffic to your website,

2. You missed my previous articles, or

3. You still haven’t been able to realize the power and incredible value of this system. that is, how this will dramatically boost your sales.

If you fall into the 1st. category, then please move on to the next article, as this one simply doesn’t apply to you.

Otherwise, please take a minute to read this article thoroughly, as it really could mean the difference between success and failure for your Internet business this year. You see, people love to make things complicated, but making money online is actually quite simple. It does not matter whether you are selling your own product, promoting affiliate links, or making money from Adsense or “click flipping”, it all boils down to just two things:

Conversion and Traffic.

Conversion comes first. You need to have an offer that people actually want. That offer could be a product, or it could be an attractive advert (e.g. Google Adsense) that people want to click on. And you need some kind of presentation (such as a sales letter) that encourages them to take the action you require such as buy the product or click on the advert.

In many ways this is the easiest part. Most people can put together a half decent website or sales letter that will make at least some money from their visitors.

But then you need Traffic. Loads of it. The more people that come by your site, the more money you will make – especially if that traffic is highly targeted. But, given the number of websites out there – all competing for the same traffic, just how do you get more visitors to your site?

Well, there are just three ways that visitors come to your site:

1. Visitors type your address straight into their browser. That results from some sort of off-line promotion: it may be your business card, a radio advert, an article in a magazine or a conversation with a friend.

2. People click on a link. It may be in an email they received (eg from a friend or from an ezine they subscribed to) or it may be on another website they have visited.

3. Or they do a search in a search engine, see your website in the listings, and click on the link to visit you.

And that is it, period. There are no other ways for them to get to your website.

So, if we know that, how do we get more traffic? Easy:

1. Promote your Internet presence in all your offline promotional materials.

2. Get lots of people to place a link to you, and lots of people to send out emails with your link in it.

3. Get a top position in the search engines.

Yes.., sounds simple doesn’t it, but maybe it is not so easy in practice? Just how do you achieve steps 2 and 3 without spending bucketsful of cash or getting your site banned by the search engines?

To understand this, we need to understand how the search engines work. Again, it is much simpler than people make out.

All search engines want lots of people to search them. In order to achieve that, they try to deliver relevant and up-to-date content to the people who make a search on them. But how do they work out what is relevant to the search?

There are really only two ways they can do that:

1. They scan your website and, using very sophisticated algorithms, they work out what the subject matter of your website is. The also look at how new or old it is, how recently it has been updated and so on. These are all known as on-page or on-site factors. You have direct control over many of these factors when you set up your site.

2. They look at what other people say about your site. In doing this they look at two things: how many people link to your site (and what the link says) and also how important is the site that links to your site. An important “authority” site that points to you is worth more than a whole bunch of unimportant sites. They also consider how recent the links that point to you are, and a number of other factors about the link and the context in which it is found.

At the same time, the search engines are constantly looking out for sites that try to fool them into thinking that they are more relevant or more popular than they really are. Which is why the so-called “black-hat” techniques quickly lose their effectiveness.

Therefore, to get to the top of the search engine lists you need to do two things:

1. You can optimize your on-page factors: there is plenty of information on- and off-line it about how to do that. It is not difficult but, on its own, it is also not enough.

2. Get lots of high quality, one-way, relevant links to your website from as many other websites as possible.

So, how do you get people to link to you?

1. Produce a fantastic site so that others just really want to tell others about your site.

2. Pay others to link to you – buy a text link, or offer an affiliate program.

3. Exchange links with other sites – but reciprocal links are clearly not worth as much as one-way back-links and it is a lot of work to do this effectively anyway.

4. Provide them with fresh, unique content that adds value to their site in return for which they agree to post a link back to you. Loads of sites are constantly looking for fresh, unique content. They get this content by hunting through article directories, or by subscribing to article submission services.

Therefore, if you distribute articles to these directories, your articles will end up on both the directories themselves AND on the niche sites that pick up and use these articles. AND some of these sites are likely to be valuable “authority”-type sites. Of course, whether the article is used and by whom, depends on the quality of your article.

As you can see, this last method is the simplest and most powerful. It gives you hundreds or thousands of one way links, from niche, relevant sites, all for free. All you need is some way to get a different, unique, article to each of those directories and ezine publishers. Which is, of course, what our software does.

But wait a minute! It doesn’t stop there. The real power behind this method comes when you use it regularly. Preferably at least once a week. Imagine getting 200 to 1800 new permanent one way links every week! By the end of a year, you could easily have 50,000 or more relevant, quality, one-way links to your site! And you can connect the submission process to a timer to put everything on autopilot!

That is the power of this system and that is why it beats every other traffic generation and SEO system there is.

So, unless you don’t have an online presence at all, isn’t it time you harnessed this power for your own business? Click on our link below now to get the early-bird discount and get a fantastic bunch of bonuses:
