The most important aspect of any multi-level marketing business is the people. This is true in any business but it is especially important when you are trying to find associates to bring into your organization who will help to build your income. There are a lot of opportunities out there so how do you get a MLM lead interested in yours?

The key is to understand what the prospective associate is interested in. They really dont care about your product. And they dont care about how well you have done with the program. They are only interested in one thing.

The lead you are talking to wants to know what the business can do for them. People are self-centered and they will only be interested in something if it has the potential to affect them. Most people could care less about the business and the possibilities if they cant see how it relates to them.

Your job is to act as a transformer. To be successful at converting your leads into members of your down line, you must show them how your program can transform their lives. Don’t try to sell the program, this is how most new MLM people get off track, you just need to sell the dream. That person across the table is not interested in how the organization is set up or what the structure is like. They are only interested in what’s in it for them.

If you show them the possibilities of how your plan can transform their lives into something they want then they will be interested in your pitch. If you cant ignite a dream in them then you might as well go talk to a wall. If the prospect doesnt buy into the possibilities then there is no hope on your part.

Your job during the talk is to be a change agent. It is imperative that you show the prospect how your business can change their life. Most people are not happy with their financial situation in life. The want to make a change for the better. These people are only waiting for the right offer to come along and they will jump if you can make a connection between their dreams and your opportunity.

It all comes down to how the business can be used to transform their life. Everyone has dreams and goals. Your job is to tie the dreams of the prospect to the possibilities of your plan. Show them how they can get down the road to the life they desire.
