Driving Sales Via the Internet – Five Start Up SEO Methods

The single reason businesses optimize their web pages is to attract more customers! Optimization allows search engines such as Google and Yahoo to find the business website when customers are seeking information about the product or service provided by your company. Getting your information into the customer’s view during the point in the buying process where purchase decisions are made greatly enhances the chances of earning a new customer.

Going about optimizing the page can be a complex undertaking. Hiring a local SEO coordinator or consultant can be a good start. However, even if a consultant is engaged, it is useful to the enterprise manager to understand the main processes that will get the company page into the top search engine results.

This proven, five step framework has been used by SEO Consultants in Denver with great success. Here is a quick summary.

On-Page Modifications – Keywords or phrases must be identified that describe the business and would also be used by consumers searching for information. Identifying keywords can be a challenge though. The business must start with two or three words or short phrases that describe what the business does, describes the value proposition and also describes the page content.

When these phrases are identified, they should be used in the title, headlines and text of the web page. Use of these phrases in the content body though, should not be overdone. Overuse of these terms can be viewed negatively by search engines, so the web author should only use the keyword terms in a form that they would normally be used in conversation.

As finding these terms can be a challenge, the web owner should invest some time in learning keyword techniques. Several free keyword tools are available to help, including Google’s Adwords tool. In the end though, effective terms and keyword phrases are discovered by understanding elements of the customer’s behavior and language use.

Off Page Optimization – The term ‘Off Page’ refers to the part of the SEO effort that takes place outside of the business owner’s website and refers mostly to efforts to let readers and internet users know that the page exists and provides good content. There are four pieces to the ‘Off Page’ process:

Blogging – setting links on other blogs Article Marketing – embedding links in articles published elsewhere on the internet Site Submission Direct Outreach

Blogging – is simply reaching out to other sites, commenting and leaving your URL with your comment. The search engines will see that you left a comment and will follow the link back to your site. These back links are extremely important in building confidence with the search engines that the site provides content described by the keywords. And remember to use a keyword phrase if possible as the name of the link that you attach to the URL

Articles – Article composition unfortunately takes time. However by embedding a link to the website within the content of the article, the business can build a network of back links by distributing these articles to article directories. Compositions need not be terribly long – the baseline for acceptance in most directories is 500 words or so.

Site Submission – search engines generally allow the page owner to submit the site so that the search engine will look for it, and display the page when appropriate searches are run. Google and Yahoo accept these submissions, so search for the submission sites, leave your URL and the engines should send out their respective robots to research your page.

Direct Outreach – This is perhaps a fancy term for simply asking others to set a link to the company’s website on their page. Contributing content exclusively to these sites is a good reason for other sites to agree to this. As most website operators struggle to post new and relevant content, gaining a contributor for the price of setting a link is usually a good trade. This is similar to article distribution, but requires directly contacting other webmasters and proposing the deal. It also may require some agreement that you won’t distribute the exact same content elsewhere on the internet.

Other tactics help in the effort to get your page into the top Search Engine Results, but these five elements can get your page in the game.

SEO Consultants Denver help organizations of all types compete for new revenue over the internet. With a track record of placing sites in Google’s top ten results, the company uses proven techniques and cutting edge techniques to attract internet traffic and customers to business websites.

3 Steps To A Page That Does Deliver Results!

For anyone considering starting an online business, arranging a facility to accept credit cards is a necessity. In fact when was the last time you saw a company selling products online that took money orders or checks?

A good way to see your potential customers leave is to make them wait for the order. Instant payment is expected by every internet user so whether you are supplying a service or product you need to be able to send it out as soon as payment is made.

Every top company that sells products over the internet, accepts credit cards and has done since day one. This should not stop you from organizing online payments before the website is completed.

This is something you need to do if you want to show people you are committed to running an online business. There are a few different ways to accept credit cards online, but it doesn’t matter which you choose as long as you choose one of them.

Most online payment systems are similar to those you will find in any retail store or restaurant, alternatively you can use the system that many others are using now called Paypal. Though there are some that are wary of Paypal, I honestly think if you are going to use a credit card this is the way to go.

People feel secure when they see the Paypal sign, as it has gained great recognition over recent years. The only way to keep customers is by providing a safe online payment service in a secure environment for them to purchase your products or service.

Any transaction must be in code or encrypted so a thief cannot steal the identity of the card owner. It is important to have this facility if you accept credit cards online. With fraud being one of the top concerns on the internet it is your responsibility to make your customers feel safe and secure when they place an order otherwise they will leave and and order elsewhere.

How To Make Buying Easier On Your site

Make your prospects purchase your products online is not easy, but have you ever thought that you’re making the process twice as difficult for both parties if your prospects are convinced but don’t know how to buy from you? No matter how good you are at convincing your prospects, they won’t buy if they find the process cumbersome.

First, you will want to check that people can find your order form easily and hassle-free. You can write a clear, concise paragraph to direct your prospects to your order form so that you can minimize the chances of them getting lost. You can also reduce the chances of losing prospects by putting a prominent link to your order page from every other page on your site.

Also, do you offer multiple payment options? Some people may feel comfortable paying via Paypal, some may only want to pay with their credit card and others might want to send a cheque. The more options you offer, the better your chances of covering your prospects’ desired payment method. After all, it wouldn’t make any sense to sell hard to a prospect only to find that they won’t be able to pay you when they want to.

On the other hand, you will want to prove that you are a credible merchant. Is your order form secured using encryption technology? You would want to look into SSL for this. You can also offer a money back guarantee so that people will feel confident about buying from you. How about after sales support? Who do they contact when they have problems after purchasing?

Alternatively, you can add customer testimonials, your contact information, address, and so on to boost your prospects’ confidence. Make them feel safe about buying something from you, a total stranger to them on the other end of the Internet.

As a conclusion, it would be very pitiful if you sold hard and sold well to a prospect and something goes wrong when he or she is ready to pay. Eliminate any chances of that to maximize your profits!
